HOW I GOT INTO RADIO:
After a failed career as a baseball player I decided to get into sports broadcasting. After the radio station program director met with me for a while he insisted that I should be a DJ for a music station instead of a sports station. Seems that my voice might not be “low” enough (I have a raspy high-pitched voice) to do sports. That is the shortest version of a potentially long story. Are you even reading this? Do you even care? If you do, I’d like you to know that I have worked in radio in Texas, Arkansas, South Carolina (this is the 2nd time), Massachusetts and California.
